Registration is open for the 2nd Eastern Partnership E-infrastructure Conference, EaPEC 2017, in Minsk, Belarus, on 27-28 September. Policy makers, researchers, students and experts on networking, cultural heritage, and high-performance computing for research and education and other interested parties are invited to register and submit proposals for lightning talks and posters. The schedule and all other details are available at www.eapec.eu.
EaPEC 2017 is organised by the Eastern Partnership Connect (EaPConnect) project and will be hosted by BASNET, the Belarusian network for research and education and beneficiary partner of the EaPConnect project, in cooperation with UIIP, the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
As part of the EaPConnect project’s goal to interconnect the research and education communities in the EU and Eastern Partnership regions, EaPEC 2017 will support community building and serve as a platform for collaboration on policy and research, with a focus on e-infrastructures for Open Science.
EaPEC 2017 will feature:
- a keynote speaker from the flagship Human Brain Project;
- presentations and discussions about research and e-infrastructures for open science;
- presentations of the second regional Enlighten Your Research awards.
