WEBINAR: Data Science for CSOs or How CSOs can use data in their work / 4 November 2020

We are pleased to invite you to our next WEBINAR: Data Science for CSOs or How CSOs can use data in their work.

Registration form.

WHEN: Wednesday, 4 November 2020, at 4:00 PM Brussels time (please check your local time!)

WHY: With technological development, more and more data is being created and collected, and it allows companies and organisations to process these data and turn them either into insights to make better decisions, or tools which can make their work easier and better. While private companies harness these opportunities with big success, CSOs seem to be lacking the resources or knowledge to do so. In this introductory webinar we will try to touch upon some aspects of working with data, whether it is data collections, analysis, communication, or more advanced technologies of using data science and AI to find tech solutions to some of the modern challenges.  We will talk about what are the possibilities and shortcomings of using data in CSOs work, and how one can start incorporating more of data work in their projects.

HOW: Zoom webinar in the English language with interpretation into Russian.

TOPICS:

  • What is the application of data, data communications, and data science in the work of CSOs, media and activism?
  • What are some of the success case studies of such applications globally and in our region?
  • Where can you start from if you are willing to use more of data science and data communications in your work?
