Civil society organisations and local authorities from Moldova are invited to participate in a series of webinars on April 23-24, 2018 for the preparation of Concept Notes for the Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society Organisations and Local authorities (CSO-LA) in the Republic of Moldova”

The EU-funded technical assistance Project Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility – Regional Actions invites civil society organisations (CSO) and local authorities (LA) from MOLDOVA to participate in a series of webinars for the preparation of Concept Notes for the Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society Organisations and Local authorities (CSO-LA) in the Republic of Moldova”. The webinars will be held on 23rd and 24th of April 2018 (check the schedule details below).

This training is organised upon the request of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova and is designed for the civil society organisations and local authorities from Moldova eligible for applying for the EU Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society Organisations and Local authorities (CSO-LA) in the Republic of Moldova” with the objective to support the participation of civil society and local authorities in creating an enabling environment and increasing their capacity in ensuring the accountability and transparency in decision making. The deadline for submission of Concept Notes is 04 May 2018.

Why to participate in the webinar:

  • To get full and clear information on the requirements of the Call for Proposals;
  • To learn how to fill in the Concept Notes as well as understand how they will be evaluated;
  • To get understanding of basic tools to develop the Concept Notes: stakeholder analysis, problem/objective tree and basis for regulating partnership relations;
  • To ask your questions and get a feedback from the experienced trainer.

Eligibility
  • The webinars will be organised for CSOs and LAs from Moldova eligible for applying EU Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society Organisations and Local authorities (CSO-LA) in the Republic of Moldova”.
Goal
  • The goal of the webinars is to train CSO and LA representatives on how to prepare Concept Notes to apply for grants under the above mentioned thematic EU Programme.

  • Preparation of the Concept Note for the Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society Organisations and Local authorities (CSO-LA) in the Republic of Moldova”
Timing
  • The webinars will be held on April 23 and 24, 2018.
    The webinars will be arranged in three blocks, 1.5 hours each:
  • Block 1: April 23, 2018, 11.00 – 12.30 (Chisinau time)
    Introduction to project proposal writing and the Guidelines for Applicants
  • Block 2: April 23, 2018, 14.00 – 15.30 (Chisinau time)
    Role and structure of Concept Note in EU application procedure
  • Block 3: April 24, 2018, 11.00 – 12.30 (Chisinau time)
    Preparing effective Concept Note
Language
  • The webinars will be delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation into the Romanian language.
Conditions
  • This training will particularly benefit those CSO staff that deal with grant applications and grant action management.
  • The training is designed both for well-experienced CSOs and less experienced CSOs and LAs.
  • The webinar is free of charge; online registration is required.

In addition, the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility – Regional Actions Project will establish the online Help Desk Facility for the participants after the webinars to offer civil society organisations in formulating and development of their concept notes. All received questions will be publicly answered and available to all interested organisations. The facility will be available between 24th April and 4th May, 2018 (Concept Note deadline).
